The best virtual world is the one you create in your head. Or leave it to Disney and EA Games.

Whilst some dreams achieve this, the best virtual worlds I can think of are created in the mind’s eye – the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy on radio or numerous novels. Game worlds achieve this for tens of millions, while Avatar did it for $250m or some such – these are not budgets given to you for e-learning, though £3m might buy you a module of an MBA coursr and a 12 year shelf-life.

As the way people learn can be so different they need the space to learn in there own way. Less is more.
